THE EXERCISES AND "FORM"

Much like yoga, but mainly done from a standing position, the "form" of Chi Kung exercises are shown below. In Chi Kung Terminology they are called "Dynamic Patterns":

Pictured above from left to right are the patterns "Carrying the Moon", "Pushing Mountains", and "Lifting the Sky"

The above exercises are the physical aspect of the Generating Energy Flow course, and are shown at their peak of performance.  They are displayed to show that this course can be performed by anyone!  Chi Kung is for becoming healthy and fit and does not require the practitioner to meet these requirements from the outset!

However, the physical form and Dynamic patterns are only a small aspect of the larger Art that is Chi Kung.

ENERGY WORK AND "INTERNAL" DEVELOPMENT

It can be said that Chi Kung works from the" inside out". In regards to this, the majority of the time is spent directly working on 5 important internal aspects, namely:

  • Full Body Relaxation
  • Attaining a One-Pointed Mind
  • Smiling/Opening the Heart
  • Letting Go
  • Attaining a Heightened State of Mind

Sifu Adam Kryder in "Standing Meditation" one of various outward forms for the above mentioned  internal aspects

It is important to note that all the above aspects, must be learned from a certified instructor, and are not to be practiced without such guidance. The above explanation is meant to explain that although Chi Kung is a less commonly known, and rare art, it is extremely simple and profound, and can be practiced by all, regardless of age, and present mental or physical condition.
